Play in Events!

We will compile a list of events you can sign up for HERE. Once event registration opens in October you will be able to sign up for as many events as you want/are able. Most events are free (there are a few exceptions and those will be noted in the description. Currently only the Marvel Crisis Protocol tournament and the ARTEMIS Space bridge events have additional costs). Please note, even though events are free you still must add tickets to your cart and check out in order to reserve your place for these events.

Run Events!

Once you have a badge of any type you can sign up to run any event you like (Role-Playing games, card games, Board Games, Panels, Workshops). For those who purchase a GM badge we ask you to run at least two separate events. Otherwise there is no minimum or maximum requirements or restrictions.

Demo Tables

Alongside scheduled events, AcadeCon gaming hosts Demo Tables so you can easily drop in and get a game.

Play to Win!

Thanks to the fine folks at Double Exposure, as well as other sponsors we anticipate 30 to 40 Play to Win games at this year’s event.

Double Exposure’s envoy program is a partnership where they collaborate with publishers to have them send free copies of their games to local conventions (like ours) to help support the convention and promote their games.

Each play to win game is free to check out (with a badge, of course) and when you return to the library you and any/all players can fill out a ticket to win that copy of the game. The more you play it, the more likely you are to win.
